Marine Technologies Yacht Design

In this section, we concern ourselves with the fluid aspects of yacht design. It is quite obvious that the stability of the yacht will affect its power to carry sail, therefore aerodynamics are involved, but also hydrodynamics, because the sail are entirely dependent on the keel and rudder to be able to do their job. We see that everything is interrelated, and this series of articles should help clear everything up a bit.
